The Midlife Pivot
Figuring out what you want to do next can be daunting and challenging. Suppose you've stepped out of work for a while to take care of your family, or you can't stand one more day in your current position. In that case, I'm very passionate about the midlife pivot as I genuinely feel we are called into more and have a deep desire for our work to have meaning and purpose. And I know it can be scary to pursue something new! I went through my midlife pivot a few years ago, and I know the doubt, fear, and frustration that come with the territory. Yet, I know the excitement and success available on the other side of taking that first step. I've created a 12-step program – the very one that I used – to bring you clarity and get you into action with a new career, passion project, or side hustle.

Jen is a fierce supporter and promoter of women 40+ and has trademarked the rallying cry of our time: You're Not Too F***ing Old! Women are not too old to have a seat at the table, make a massive impact, change the conversation, and be recognized, heard, and paid for their expertise. In fact, women are not "too anything." This speech is an energetic plea for women to realize that never in the history of time has a woman been just "perfect," so we might as well show up as ourselves. The patriarchy has told us we're too fat, too thin, too loud, too quiet, too bold, too timid, too pretty, too ugly, and it goes on and on. As a passionate advocate for women's rights, equality, and advancement, Jen is fed up and knows you are too!

I planned our first-ever Women in Leadership Summit for our Workday partners in San Francisco, and Jen Marples was our keynote speaker. I’ve been listening to Jen’s podcast for years, so she was my first choice to deliver her Women Supporting Women: We Must Do Better keynote at our inaugural summit. Jen delivered a powerful keynote and did a fabulous job teaching and inspiring us all to support and lift other women, amplify our own and other women’s voices, and pave the path for the next generation of women.
